Recently I got very inspired by a lot of people. I love several disciplines and when people combine aesthics, purity and dreams within them, I want to know all about it. I met Elisabeth Claes a while ago on summer picknick, hosted by my very inspiring friend Charlotte, about whom I hope to write someday soon too.
When I was living abroad, I met tons of interesting people from many different nationalities. Once, I met Mel Shaw in art class. Both of us weren’t even subscribed to the course for credits, but still decided to spend our wednesday afternoons in a class room in an old building in Amsterdam near the canals, listening to lectures about Monet, Mies Van de Rohe and Gaugin.
Whoever thought Scandinavian artists only offer minimal melancholic music, will probably rethink this assumption after listening to Hermigervill. Sveinbjörn Thorarensen is the young Icelandic mind that is behind this soft trippy music initiative.
